Design Process & Goals

     This web site was created for Miller & Zois, a law firm we have completed several sites for already. They wanted a separate site to showcase their specialization in Truck Accidents in Maryland. We used aspects from their new site for Millerandzois.com site that is currently in development. The site had to be easy to use and easy for customers to contact the firm.

     You will see two different design features on this site, optimized for people and optimized for search engines. To start let's talk about how it is optimized for people. The site has contact information very clear right at the top. Very important. Also there are two clearly labeled buttons to click on if you are injured and need help. Sometimes just saying 'Contact Us' isn't enough you have to ask a question, 'Are you injured? Click here'. Also you will see a contact form on the main page, this makes it even easier to have clients contact you.

     Now to see how the site is optimized for the search engines; you can clearly see there is a large amount of text on this page. Right at the top above the picture of the accident you will see 'Maryland Truck Accident Attorneys'. This increases this page's likelyhood to come up high when someone searches for something simliar to 'Maryland Truck Accident Attorneys'. Google can tell what text is bold, it also gives more 'points' to text higher up in the page. All of this combined helps raise our sites higher in the search engines.
