This site was made for Cracker Box Kits, located in Pennsylvania. Walter contacted me and told me he was not happy with his old web site. He had an old online store that was very limited and wouldn't allow him to do many things that he needed in order to operate his business. Cracker Box Kits makes ornament kits that you put together yourself, the kits are high quality and very popular throughout the world.

After speaking with Walter more, I told him how I could help with his online store. It became very apparent that a custom store would have to be created to suit his exact needs. We have created many different custom online applications for our customers and we knew this one would have to be very custom from the ground up.

Aside from the online store, Walter wanted an eye catching animation, something that involved Christmas and would really capture the viewing audience.

The store is 100% custom and allows for the following features:

Products can be added online by the administrator. This means they have total control over their site and the products offered.
The site was custom made so each product would have the ability to have the user change the color.
The site needed to be simple. We believe a good online store is a basic one. You will notice the store page is very straight forward and doesn't involve multiple steps.
The shipping and tax information is calculated immediately when the customer makes a change, for example no tax is calculated unless the buyer lives in Pennsylvania, if so the amount is immediately changed.
The web site is kept secure using 128 bit encryption.

The animation was made using Macromedia's Flash MX. The animation was totally custom done by Certified Computer Experts.
